                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF CHESTNUT STREET, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON THURSDAY,
                   NOVEMBER 1, 1990, FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
                   RIBBON CUTTING UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE
                   CHATTANOOGA REGIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
                 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the two northbound lanes of Chestnut Street
       between 4th Street and 5th Street on Thursday, November 1, 1990
       from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of a ribbon cutting
       ceremony under the sponsorship of the Chattanooga Regional 
History
       Museum provided that the sponsors shall set out and pick up all
       flasher barricades and traffic signs in accordance with the
       traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all
       times, an access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
